Ruth Edwards has been a Realtor since January of 2015. She joined Coldwell Banker Next Generation Realty - Crystal River in February of 2019. Ruth is active within the local, state, and national association, serving on numerous committees. In 2019, Ruth served as the President of the Realtors Association of Citrus County and represented Citrus County at several National Association of Realtors events. Ruth is a major investor with the Realtor Political Action Committee and has recently reached the President's Circle. She has been a strong advocate for legislative issues important to homeowners and the real estate industry.
Ruth has received the Commitment to Excellence Endorsement from the National Association of Realtors and has earned many certifications and designations, including Pricing Strategy Advisor, Real Estate Negotiation Expert, Military Relocation Professional, At Home with Diversity, and Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource. Ruth recently completed her broker's course and exam, becoming a licensed Broker Associate.
Ruth has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who and is a Pinnacle Professional Member of Continental Who's Who. She has also been acknowledged as one of the top 500 Realtors by Broker-Agent Advisor in 2020 and 2021, and she was recently awarded the Diamond Award by Carrington Publishers.
Ruth is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and the Real Estate Business Institute. She has been a member of the Florida Association of Realtors Honor Society for the past six years.
In her spare time, Ruth loves to cook. Her multicultural menus make for interesting family dinners. She also enjoys reading, needlework, and playing with her rescue dogs. Ruth and her husband enjoy traveling, with trips to the US Virgin Islands and Hawaii as their favorite destinations.
